Privacy Policy

Spokepay is voice invoicing for contractors. We collect the minimum data needed to send your invoices and keep the app running. We don't sell your data.
Voice recordings are processed on-device or sent to our speech-to-text provider, then discarded — we never store your audio, and we don't train AI on it.
What we collect
- Account: email address (for sign-in via one-time code).
- Profile (optional, contractor-supplied): full name, company name, address, phone, hourly rate.
- Invoice data: client names, project names, line items, amounts. Stored encrypted at rest.
- Voice: audio is processed for transcription only; not stored after the parse completes.
- Usage and diagnostics: app version, OS version, crash reports.
How we use it
- To run the app's core function (creating and sending invoices).
- To diagnose crashes and improve reliability.
- To deliver your one-time login codes.
- We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data.
Who we share it with
- Convex (database hosting): stores invoice and account data.
- Resend (email delivery): sends one-time login codes.
- Groq (voice intent parsing): processes voice transcripts for the parse step.
- Sentry (crash reporting): receives anonymized crash data when the app errors.
- Apple: receives device-level interactions per Apple's standard App Store telemetry.
- We disclose to law enforcement only when required by valid legal process.
Your rights
- Access: request a copy of your data by emailing privacy@spokepay.io.
- Deletion: request deletion by emailing privacy@spokepay.io. We process deletion requests within 30 days.
- Export: request a JSON export of your invoices and clients by emailing privacy@spokepay.io.
- Withdraw consent: stop using the app and request deletion at any time.
Children
Spokepay is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. We won't materially reduce your privacy protections without notifying you in the app.
